Modern two-story office design for 800 staff with ESG strategy, flexible zones, and branded smart features

Tricor Group (now Vistra), Asia’s leading business expansion specialist, relocated its Hong Kong headquarters to Manulife Place, Kwun Tong, to support business growth and operational efficiency. We were engaged to deliver a full design proposal and feasibility study to accommodate over 800 staff across two floors with a focus on brand image, technology integration, and ESG compliance.

Designing a Future-Ready Corporate Headquarters

Functional Layout and Smart Circulation

Our design centered around a central staircase spine at the reception, connecting two levels seamlessly. This spine doubles as step seating for company events, promoting interaction and engagement. Office planning followed clear zoning principles, ensuring departments were organized, efficient, and future-flexible.

Diverse Work Settings for Agile Teams

We created a variety of work zones to support productivity and collaboration:

• Private pods for focus work

• Small group discussion areas

• Open active zones for interaction

• Quiet corners for uninterrupted work

• Flexible pantries doubling as casual meeting hubs

These adaptable environments cater to different working styles, boost team creativity, and align with global workplace trends.

Branded Experience and ESG Justification

The Tricor identity was subtly embedded into the space—most notably in a custom ceiling feature incorporating the logo. Materials and finishes were selected to support ESG reporting, using low-VOC, sustainable elements. Smart office technologies were implemented to track usage, automate lighting/AC, and optimize energy.
