Peculiar Club
A Futuristic Rooftop Restaurant and Lounge in Quarry Bay
Nature Meets Futurism – Sculpting a Whimsical Interior Landscape
In response to the restaurant’s focus on organic and health-conscious cuisine, the interior captures natural elements with dramatic architectural gestures. The ceiling structure mimics a flowing mountain range, while a suspended tree installation adds a surreal and immersive forest-like ambiance.
- Materials & Color Palette: A harmonious mix of earthy tones and textures, enhanced with rhythmic bronze panels to infuse a sense of luxury and modern refinement.
- Spatial Composition: The integration of contours and hanging elements evokes both serenity and surprise, bringing outdoor sensations into an elevated, indoor space.
The Second Floor – A Mystical Bar Journey with Media Tunnel & Optical Illusions
Entering the second level is a sensory adventure. A light-beam media tunnel in the lift lobby welcomes guests with a futuristic glow, setting the stage for what’s to come.
In the bar and lounge:
- A black-and-silver monotone envelops the interior, creating a moody and seductive atmosphere.
- A custom-designed suspended metal ring floats above the bar – its telescope-like shape reveals a folded glass illusion of infinity, offering a hypnotic visual moment.
- The indoor lounge extends to a sprawling terrace, where guests are rewarded with panoramic views of the city skyline, seamlessly transitioning from interior to open-air.
Where City Escapes Meet Architectural Art
The Peculiar Club is a masterclass in storytelling through space, where architectural details stir emotions, stimulate the senses, and create a memorable escape in the sky. Whether it’s a quiet dinner, intimate drink, or late-night gathering, the space responds with charm and elegance.
