Innovative Simulation Lab and Smart Office Interior Design – AS Simulation Lab at HKSTP

Multi-functional tech lab design tailored for robotics demonstration, simulation, and corporate events in a dynamic R&D environment.

We partnered with Avalon Steritech to envision and co-create their new simulation lab, office, and showroom located at Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP). This hybrid space blends research, collaboration, testing, and brand experience in one powerful interior concept.

A Future-Proofed Incubator Space for Health-Tech Innovation

Designed for Versatility and Scalable Engagement

The entrance opens to a multi-functional event space equipped with an electric control projection screen and an operable partitioned meeting room. This allows the area to expand for large-scale presentations, product demos, or educational tours—making it ideal for both internal and external use.

Industry-Inspired Spatial Storytelling

To reflect Avalon Steritech’s clients in aviation, transportation, and public health, we embedded sector-specific simulation zones into the design—helping clients and visitors visualize real-world applications of their robotics and disinfection technologies.

Smart Central Collaboration Hub

At the heart of the lab sits a circular transparent hanging screen for live-streamed data or promotional content. This area doubles as a robot display and testing zone, complete with a robot testing route, offering a real-time showcase for engineering demonstrations or educational workshops.

Clean, Bright, Functional Aesthetic

A bright and energetic color palette, paired with comfortable materials, gives the space a high-tech yet human-centered feel. We designed for both functionality and ambiance—balancing industrial innovation with spatial wellbeing.
