Design Concept & Approach

Guided by the couple’s love of grey and blue and natural materials, the design balances serenity, durability, and function. Finishes were selected for scratch resistance, easy maintenance, and tactile warmth, creating a home that welcomes pets and children without compromising style.

The living–dining core opens to sweeping green and ocean views. We converted the original windows into large sliding doors to flood the interior with daylight and extend sightlines to sea and sky. A new balcony—purpose‑built for the couple’s pet—adds fresh air access, sun, and safe outdoor time. Inside, a concealed shoe cabinet at the entrance keeps the foyer calm and clutter‑free. A light, elegant material mix—textured paint for visual softness, the juxtaposition of warm wood with veined marble—anchors the quiet luxury mood while reflecting coastal brightness.

In the master suite, a tailor‑made bed, bedside tables, and a streamlined work desk were crafted in one coherent language: light grey surfaces paired with natural wood details. Storage is integrated to keep the room visually serene, while a ceiling‑hidden projection screen transforms the space for cinema‑style entertainment without visual bulk.

The kids’ room adopts a streamlined, curved geometry—from the wardrobe fronts to the desk corner and headboard—to enhance safety and add a playful, soft-edged character. Durable, low‑VOC finishes keep air quality and longevity in focus.

Echoing the coastal setting, bathrooms feature marble‑look tiles layered with unique accent hues, creating a tasteful, ocean‑inspired palette that feels refined yet uplifting. Across the home, pet- and child‑friendly specifications (rounded edges, robust coatings, and easy‑clean surfaces) ensure everyday livability matches the polished aesthetic.
